Department Overview

The Department of ISE aims at improving the quality of education and management of students and staff. With its highly qualified staff as its armada and well equipped, centralized computer laboratories having latest configurations, software tools and 24x7 internet service, the department presents a unique opportunity for the students to study the exciting filed under the guidance of the quality staff.

The course basically concentrates on the important subjects dealt in the field of Information Technology. It involves theory and practicals blended with managerial skills.
 

Intake Per Batch: 60 Students
 

Infrastructure

The department is located in an area of 8000 sq.ft. comprising Lecture halls, Departmental Library, Faculty rooms and Laboratories. The labs are well equipped with about 95 computer units of high performormance and configuration and centralized with 2 servers. Each staff room has separate computer rendering e-learning, an easier process.


 

Workshops and Seminars

The department regularly hosts technical seminars and workshops on the current trends in the IT field. Many seminars are conducted by professionals from the industry and renowned IT companies.
Regular off-syllabus courses are offered to provide the students an edge over the rest.


 

Online Classroom

Online Class room has facility of integrating idea of student and experts using 40 advance configured notes

Zenith Lab

Zenith Lab, equipped with 22 Pentium-IV nodes networked on the Windows 2000 platform is used for C, C++ and MS Office. The lab is used by students for the subjects: Analysis and Deisgn of Algorithms(ADA),Computer Concepts and C Programming (CCCP),Object Oriented Programming Structure (OOPS),Data Structures(DS).

Basic COmputer Lab

Basic Computing lab, equipped with 24 P-IV based nodes networked along with sophisticated IBM server and loaded with Licensed Copies of Windows XP© and Red Hat Linux©. The lab is used by students for the subjects: RDMBS, File Structures (FS), Logic Design using Xilinx(LD).

Web Lab

Advanced Web Programming lab hosts 22 P-IV based systems used for Web design, Internet related project developments and Electronics Circuits. This lab is also networked with a highly sophisticated IBM server and all the terminals are loaded with Genuine Windows XP© and Red Hat Linux©.

Lab 4

LINUX lab hosts 25 P-IV based systems used for different purposes like LEX & YACC programming, File Structures lab and Network programming laboratories.

Department Library

Department of Telecommunication has library to cater to the needs of staff.It also has the project reports of previous batches for student's reference.

Student Counselling

There are different Committees in the college who help the student in addressing their personal problems and who mentor the students as and when required. We also counsel the students on the career and education aspects. The performances of the students are recorded and parents are updated of their ward's appraisal.
