The department has full fledged lab facilities as per VTU Syllabus. The major Laboratories are

The laboratories are equipped with a whole range of Analog and Digital storage Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzers, Advanced DSP Trainer Kits, Signal Generator, AM and FM Signal Generator, Microwave test benches, Fiber Optical Kits, Software Packages like, MATLAB 7.1 version, XILINX Software, Server 2003 Software, Office 2007 Software, Cadence Software along with more than 30 number of Computers.
'Si-Brainz' is a technical forum of E&C Department which nourishes the talent and innovative skills of the students. Under the Aegis of the forum, guest lectures and technical seminars have been arranged to enable the students to be tech savvy. They are encouraged to conduct mini projects in the department lab.
The faculty members participate in Workshops/Technical seminars hosted by VTU and other colleges. Two of our faculty were deputed to Faculty Development Program - Mission IOs initiated by the Azim Premji Foundation on Innovative Teaching Methodologies.
Online Class room has facility of integrating idea of student and experts using 40
advance configured nodes which is mainly used for interaction on advanced technolgies.
It also facilitates video conferencing from VTU on EDUSAT programmes.

Department of electronics and communication has library to cater to the needs of staff.It also has the project reports of previous batches for student's reference.
A class counseller is allotted for each semester along with the class teacher. The role of the class counseller is to monitor the attendance and marks of the students. The Parents are updated about the ward's progress and counselled. The counseller also attends to the grievances of the students.
